The City of Lake Norden has an aldermanic form of government with a mayor and six council members.
The finance officer and city attorney are appointed by the council.
The Lake Norden City Council meets monthly on the second Monday of the month at the City Office of Lake Norden at 508 Main Ave., Lake Norden at 7:00 PM.
Minutes are published in the City's Official newspaper which is the Hamlin County Herald Enterprise.
